Few comments:
I agree with Doug's post on the MWA/WLT deal. When I proposed the investment I wanted to play WLT because Iof them deciding to spin off MWA for the cash so that they could focus more on their core businesses. We have seen little move in MWA since our "acquisition" at $13.90. WLT is up a bit, but I think it will still move as the housing environment improves (slowly).
EDA pulled back 3% Friday, and I, like Ross, was able to get in early. I think this company has room to run after the market becomes more familiar with American Apparel. I'd be more comfortable getting in here as opposed to the $11 handles we were seeing last week. ACH I believe has seen the bump it was going to see in the near future. I think its going to rest for a little bit in a range, but I'd like to hold them over the longer term (a year or so).
Wall Street Week was an amazing time, and I encourage all of you that will be Juniors or Seniors to apply for it. I think you could ask anyone that went and they will tell you that they not only learned a lot about the banking/finance industry but a lot about the New York way of life.
Those of you seriously interested in getting a good internship this summer, if you haven't already, start making contact with the firms you are interested in. Feel free to contact me in regards to contacts, information, or advice, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
I also added a couple other site links and started a reading list on the right side column as well. If you have any other sites, books, or other things you want posted, let me know, and I'll drop them on.
